It started all because some friends and I are hatching a plan to Tibet this summer and, out of the blue, this riot occurred.
The way China government handle the Tibet issue, the way they handle news release, the way they treat Dalai Lama, and the way Han people treat the Tibetans...... I cannot help asking "Has China ever improved politically?" "Where is the wisdoem of Chinese politicians?"

When athlets lighted up the torch in Greence while there were blood shet in Tibet, how do you feel, as a Chinese person? And how do you feel as a Tibetan? And how do you feel, a foreingers?

I feel sad and worried,
I also feel angry and ridiculous!
I want to say "F... the Olympic Games!"

Hi Polly,
for the Tibet issue, I don't think we can just blame the Han Chinese and the Chinese Government. How do we know that what had been reported by the foreign reporters are all the facts? How can we be sure that the foreign countries are so netural regarding the issue?
is there any political manupilation by the foreign countries? does Tibet has the power to be independent? is independence the best thing for the Tibet people?
Everyone should be respected irregardless of race. the fate of the Tibet people should not be used as a tool for international political power struggles.

To Kaping:

Everyone should be respected is a Utopian slogan from a human right booklet. The Han Chinese is more respected in Tibet than the Tibetans. As for CNN and other foreign media giants, it is another matter of media ethnics.

This entry was written quite some days ago and under an explosion of emotion, so don't analyze it too critically!
